Engineering at the center of the program
Prime Craft Metal coordinates contract manufacturing for companies that need parts or assemblies produced without managing each production supplier directly. The work can span drawing review, process selection, supplier coordination, inspection planning and delivery scope.
Programs begin with the information available for the part: drawings or models, material and finish requirements, quantities, critical features, documentation and destination. The proposed route and responsibilities are then defined for review before an order is placed.
- Manufacturing routes selected for the part and program
- Production coordinated through partner facilities
- Requirements and commercial scope confirmed in the quotation

A four-stage execution model
The review points, deliverables and responsibilities are agreed for each program.
- 01
Engineering review
Review drawings, material, finish, quantity and critical features. DFM feedback and open questions are scoped with the quotation where applicable.
- 02
Matched routing
Evaluate process and partner facility options against part requirements, volume and required controls. The selected route is confirmed before production.
- 03
Quality verification
Agree acceptance criteria, inspection checkpoints and records. First article inspection and customer approval can be included when required and defined in the program.
- 04
Scoped logistics
Set packaging, freight responsibility, delivery point and shipping terms in the commercial scope before the order proceeds.
Programs we support
Engagements can be shaped around the stage, complexity and sourcing needs of the program.
New product teams
Prototype and early production planning with drawing review, route options and approval needs identified for the part.
Growing manufacturers
Additional production capacity or process coverage, with quantities, timing and inspection scope reviewed by program.
Established OEM programs
Components and subassemblies to customer drawings, with required quality documents and supplier controls scoped before order.
Sourcing and procurement
Coordinated supplier routing and a quotation that defines included parts, tooling, finishing, freight and other agreed charges.
How we operate
Five principles guide decisions from enquiry through delivery.
Quality managementClarify the scope
Confirm drawings, quantities, materials, finishes and required records before commitments are made.
Give useful engineering feedback
Raise manufacturability questions and cost or risk drivers when they are identified during review.
Match the route to the work
Evaluate production partners against the process, material, volume and controls needed for each program.
Agree how quality is shown
Define acceptance criteria, inspection evidence and any sample or first article approval before production release.
Communicate changes early
Raise schedule, specification or production changes for discussion as soon as they are known.
Discuss a manufacturing program
Share the drawing, quantity, material and delivery requirements. We can review the available information and confirm the next steps for a quotation.
